A strategic partnership between Maxtec and Ivanti has been established to enhance IT Service Management (ITSM) security across the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region. Maxtec, a QBS Technology Group company, will distribute Ivanti solutions through IVM EME to businesses and public institutions throughout Southern Africa.
Strategic SADC partnership empowers organizations with advanced ITSM security through Maxtec-Ivanti collaboration.
This collaboration brings thorough solutions for unified endpoint management, mobile device management, ITSM, and vulnerability management to organizations seeking digital transformation.
The partnership addresses growing challenges faced by regional organizations, including managing remote workforces and meeting stricter security standards. Ivanti’s Neurons platform enables predictive issue detection and task automation, giving IT departments greater visibility and control over their hybrid infrastructures.
Organizations will benefit from faster service delivery, reduced downtime, and enhanced data-driven decision-making capabilities. The partnership aims to empower local organizations through global innovation expertise while leveraging Maxtec’s regional knowledge.
Security enhancements form a central component of this partnership. The upcoming Neurons for ITSM rollout (scheduled for July 8 in non-production environments and July 19 in production as version 25.3) includes improved self-service interfaces, global filtering for analysts, and clustering of related incidents.
The platform integrates with Microsoft Teams for secure ticket management and supports compliance through unified endpoint management. By adopting this integrated approach, organizations can realize cost reductions through automated workflows that optimize resource allocation.
Maxtec contributes local expertise and established channel relationships, while Ivanti brings innovative solutions trusted by over 34,000 customers worldwide, including 85 Fortune 100 companies.
Partners will gain access to Ivanti Partner Network benefits, including performance incentives and comprehensive opportunity management tools.
Despite the partnership’s promising outlook, some challenges remain. Security analysts have questioned the tangible benefits of unified endpoint management and IT security deployments. The partnership comes as Ivanti addresses a critical buffer-overflow vulnerability affecting several of its security products, including Connect Secure and Pulse Connect Secure.
Additionally, Ivanti recently addressed a critical vulnerability (CVE-2025-22457) in Connect Secure that was exploited by China-nexus threat actors. Ivanti has urged customers using ICS 9.X and versions 22.7R2.5 and earlier to upgrade immediately to mitigate remote code execution risks.
Through this collaboration, Maxtec and Ivanti aim to shift regional IT operations from reactive maintenance to proactive service management powered by intelligent analytics, marking a new chapter for connected, secure IT across Southern Africa.
